Two mistakes punished by an arsenal team oozing in quality but we then played well I thought.
Flemming excellent hold up play.
Jaden got in some great positions.
I really liked Mehmeti tonight. There's a real player there. And gets stuck in too. Should have shot after we that run!

I thought Greaves had a good game. Clarke good off bench.
Akpom deserved his goal.
We kept playing together and caused them some issues.

Daft as it sounds, as obviously goals change games and win football matches, but other than the goals we conceded, I thought we were ok.
Not going over the top positive like GON did after the Liverpool game, but there were a number of good moves we created that then lacked the final ball or cutting edge.

Thought Flemming looked very good, Florentino decent, Clarke a good cameo, but otherwise not a lot to enjoy really.
I'm feeling really positive about out start to the season overall, but tonight was tough. |  |

It's a weird watch when you can simultaneously be encouraged by the skills of some of your players but feel so behind the opposition.
We have to recognise where Arsenal are at compared to the rest of the division I guess. I think something i'd like to see in the games against Liverpool, Arsenal & Man City before the end of the season is for us to be in the game before the end of the first 20 minutes.

This tbh.... there were some aspects to like tonight...equally there were aspects I really didn't like.
Lets be honest at 2 down the game was realistically over then the 3rd shortly after HT sealed the deal.
Those first 2 goals were really down to us... whats to like about tonight is GON helping us stop leaking goals in the first ten mins. Harsh I know but valid. |  | | |
