I can remember being able to walk round from East to West stand via Churchmans in 1973 , North was off limits due to herding the away fans kn there with their police cordon, not really any fencing at that time. Think that ended within a couple years. Today incidentally is my 53rd anniversary of my first game at Portman Road... jumping on the bandwagon after beating Real Madrid I guess!! |  | | |
