Under Premier League rules, City would have 14 days from the announcement of the verdict to submit an appeal and the process that follows should be completed in less than 12 weeks from then. Granted, the usual timescales haven't been followed up to now, but you would think that an appeal would be far quicker than the original hearing. | | | |

You can only hurt them with points and because everything is now retrospective it’s a difficult job for the PL to get the right punishment. There is no world where they should be playing in the PL next season in my mind. Year over year of blatant cheating. The punishment needs to be right but also the PL need to do better in the transparency rules so this cant happen again. |  |
