How the rest of the Premier League slept on £20m … 17:20 - Oct 10 with 5158 viewsGary_Knows

… for Palacios is beyond me. What a player.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

The guy has had his hands on the biggest prize in world football, yet here he is celebrating each Town goal like its what he's spent his whole life dreaming of.

We will likely be a stepping stone to something else for him, but he certainly isn't playing like it.

He's fully committed.

Yeah. In the post game stuff on the pitch, he's often got the biggest of grins on his mush, loving the celebrations with the fans. Mainly when we've won of course (which is every other game thanks to him and his teammates.)

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

Loved them yes but there is no disguising that they weren't good enough. I think they played above their natural level to get us promoted from the Championship initially and they were then a year older and still better than what was on offer behind them.

Morsy would probably have been ok as a change option as he could cope at times but the shear effort over the season has probably taken a year off his career.

As for Palacios, I thought when he first came on he was a bit nonplussed by the overall performance but took control of it quickly enough. Enjoy every moment of him this year as it's probably only going to be one season.

Couldn't we get a latin american type chant around ,
vamos Palacios/vamos Encisco jumping up and down type thing? I know it's not very Suffolk! Spanish speakers weigh in

Vamos! Vamos! Palacios!

We've got an absolute belter lined up for Palacios. Now idea how to embed videos on here, but there's a legendary chant from San Lorenzo we've been desperate to pilfer for years. Think we've finally got an excuse:

Oooh Exequial
Oooh Exequial
He came to Town from sunny Argentina,
He won the World Cup and he won the Bundesliga,
Winning trophies everywhere he goes,
We're gonna sing for the king of Portman Road.
Oooh Exequial
Oooh Exequial

He represents exactly what as a club we need to do and will have to do in the future. When clubs like Newcastle with a 50,000 home gate have to sell their top striker to Liverpool it just shows how far down the food chain we are.
But as has been seen from the likes of Brighton it's not impossible to have a decent team on a budget.

I have a feeling if he can remain injury free and continue as he's started, they won't be sleeping much longer.

A stepping stone to European football ... with us ... and then winning the title ... with us ...

OK, maybe not!

Why not just sing his name to the tune of the Red Flag? If nothing else it scans very well.
