Shouldn't Fulham have been given a corner?

| Walts on 13:43 - Oct 11 with 707 views | RayleighBlue | Goal-kick to Fulham / free-kick at the North Stand end and another ball was on the pitch in our area and he refused to kick it out of play when they had got another ball. | | | |
| Walts on 13:49 - Oct 11 with 665 views | Basuco | The ref gave a freekick to Fulham midway in their half, but there was a long punt clear that ended up with Walton, I did not see where the second ball came from because it was quite a way from the touchline, but Leno was waiting to take the free kick but Walton did not seem to know this, like most supporters at the game as well, he was looking for an outlet in his own half. | | | |

Their keeper stole a good 20 yards on that free kick, amazes me how the officials let players get away with that.

Fulham bench chucked it on fairly sharpish. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Nope, ref wanted Fulham GK to re-take the FK, Walton and many other players didn’t have a clue what was going on so he kept hold of the ball. Walton kicked the ball out because another ball got passed onto the Fulham GK and then the ref booked Walton.

Walton was aware it was a free kick to Fulham, but as is his right, he just left the ball for a Fulham player to get, and the ref booked him, which was ridiculous.

no he wasnt, he collected the ball off Outtara I think i was, picked it up and placed the ball for a goal kick on his 5 yard line which he was readying, when the ref then started waving his arm, which looked alot like he was asking Walton to hurry up to take the goal kick, but no one was setting up on our team for that, in fact the ref was demanding he punt the ball back up the field so Fulham could retake their mysterious free kick, which moved even more mysteriously nearly to the centre circle so he unsurprisingly couldnt work out what was happening half a pitch away from him, and then Fulham chucked another ball on the pitch took the kick, two balls on the pitch and the ref books Walton, in his eyes time wasting, in reality it was piss poor communication from the ref in the first place, all he had to do was tell a town player near him what he wanted, and theyd have signalled to Walton to kick the ball out. I did notice Walton did goto shake hands with the linos, but barely acknowledged the ref at the end of the game
