Was hoping for a draw but in fairness was lovely footwork and nice curling finish from Bobb

Draw or Cov loss was decent enough I think.

I'm wary of typing this whilst game is still playing, but....

Coventry have scored nil in 5 of their 8 games. Their 4 against Newcastle was a proper weird game too, with almost every shot going in, in a game they very much were not worth 4 goals.

They largely remind me of us in 24/25, competitive to a point, but consistently coming up short.

I'll be amazed if they don't go down.

A draw would be the ideal result for us.

Their next two home games are Sunderland and Palace as well.

Hull
Fulham
Sunderland
Palace

You’d want a good amount of points out of those 4 at home before November, so far two 1-0 losses. Can’t see them getting many more results like Forest away.

Aye. They've not looked like scoring (or even creating anything) since Fulham scored.

Fixture list was pretty kind to Fulham, having us, Hull, then Coventry as a run of games when they needed a win.

Whereas the Fulham revival has seen then gain 5 points on us over just two games.

Yep looked competitive in lots of games without finding ways to score. Very much like us that season.
Gives a false sense that you are closer to competing than really you are. Remember a feeling of doom as the season went on when the opposition scored - thinking there’s no way we score 2 so maybe a draw if lucky.

Puts the 1-1 last night in perspective. Very important to get in a habit of picking up points on the regular and having multiple ways to score in this league. Good that we have had goals from lots of different players so far this season and in virtually every game.

We had city away and they had two promoted clubs, can happen, at least it wasn’t 6.

Still a bit of a falls errand looking at table this early. I thought Fulham were pretty good against us to be honest, still would lean Palace and Sunderland as the two in greater danger (and hopefully City).

Nice of Oscar Bobb to wait a couple of weeks before finding his shooting boots.

Would have preferred a draw but don't mind a Fulham win, hopefully this damages Covs confidence immeasurably

But that has been from wins against hull and Coventry, which is very much in our interests.

Of course draws would have been better, but its not a bad outcome at all.

Chris Sutton agrees with you that they'll go down and said we have a better balance. First time I've heard him say something positive about us.

Agreed, very happy to see Coventry lose (purely because I see them as #1 relegation candidate). A win at Hull next weekend would be useful too and I see us being highly competitive there. And while I don't necessarily see Everton as relegation fodder, their only win in their last 7 League games was at home to us so they don't look great.

Yeah was saying in a group chat, I honestly want Cov and Hull to lose every game regardless, the only exception might be Sunderland next week where I think a point is probably best.

Coventry were building this up as a block of home games to win points on 17:00 - Oct 24 with 1518 viewsunstableblue

Fulham
Sunderland
Palace
Ipswich

(tough away games at Everton and Leeds in that block also)

Not a great start to lose to Fulham, but I thought Fulham were half decent (definitely good players) and doesn't surprise me they got the win.

Think Sunderland may lose to Leeds at home tomorrow so will arrive in Coventry desperate to get off the bottom.

Hull v Brentford tomorrow - would really like to see a Brentford win.

Its a great season.

Goes without saying about Hull and Cov, think the other primary focus for us should be Palace and Sunderland when looking at other sides and then hope for the best with City.

If we can be on between 13-16 points after Bournemouth, things will be looking good.

Fulham were decent brought against Liverpool, United and us I thought to be honest.

Think they figure it out, much more favorable than a Cov win.

Yeah that's not a criticism of our results. Just a factual statement that Fulham have clawed their way out of the bottom three and are just two points off us now. Hence I wanted a draw, We need as many teams as possible slogging it out in the bottom six or seven.
