Absolutely baffled by our approach to this game. PSV are obviously trying to win this tournament. They have Noah Fernandes and Santos playing who are worth the best part of £15 mil and play for their first team.
We are at home. Why wouldn't we have Egeli + 3 of Nunez, Kipre, Taylor, McAteer, Furlong or Mehmeti? Baffling and a missed opportunity to be honest.
This is really good quality opposition. Better technically then a champ game these boys. Would be ideal for the lads not getting game time. |  |

No. Feel really annoyed about it. They need the help and it's a no brainer for their fitness. Would be absolutely ideal. PSV are much bigger, faster and more technical.
Our boys on the fringes would have got loads out of this. And we should be treating this tournament much more seriously as a great development opportunity for the better academy lads but they are getting less out of this being dominated. | |

I don't buy the rhetoric it's all bad for them to be fair as I think you learn loads of you can. It also keeps egos in check and shows that you have to go up several levels still.
But I think against this sort of team you need help. And having 4 quality players added in would've good for everyone. | |

I remember my lad playing for a youth team that got stuffed by a younger Dutch side. He said despite the defeat he'd enjoyed it - as a centre back he never had to head the ball as it was never in the air and taught him loads about the level he wanted to be at. |  | | |
