I hate Ian Wright, his opinion is usually just echoes of whoever is sitting with him, and on the odd occasion that he says something controversial it's usually for the sake of being controversial as opposed to being insightful.
Also I can't forgive him for the hatchet job he wrote in he Sun about David Norris and the handcuff gesture all those years ago.
Painting Norris as a villain and bad person, possibly to take attention away from his own sons pending court case following arrest.
But that isn't swaying my opinion on him being a bad pundit.
I prefer Paul Merson to Ian Wright, at least Merson knows he is stealing a living at it | |

I don't class the Soccer Saturday lot as pundits at all, and that's not a put down.
They're not giving analysis, they're just providing energy whilst reporting what is happening. The concept is so simple, it's amazing how well they do it. People in The States can't comprehend it. |  |
