What, to be 6th choice?

Why do we need another striker?

Surely a back up defender is more important especially if Smith is struggling!

We'll have two more strikers in the building in January, we really don't need another one. Some cover at CB and another wide option would be lovely but I don't think reinforcements are essential this time around, we did good business in the summer.

More importatn to complete the midfield overhaul and to resolve the fitness/ injury problems that have been a problem since MM arrived

The midfield is fine. We have Skuse, Huws, Adeyemi, Bishop, Ward, Nydam, Downes, Hyam, and Dozzell to come back. Web also have Connolly currently playing very well in there. You really think we should be looking at signing more midfielders?

Last thing we need, IMO. Especially if Moore comes back and can replicate his Rotherham form.

We'll also have formally signed Aaron Drinan in January as well.

I just can't see Moore getting any game time here, IMHO. I reckon Mick will give him a couple of cameo appearances off the bench early part of January to see if he feels like he can make a career here, otherwise he'll be off towards the end of January (permanently, once we have taken up the year option in his deal to get the best deal for him).

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

I think a CB is needed

Yep. Defender is paramount.

But we'll need a replacement for McG if he's sold in January.

If you mean that Mick needs to find his best formation/style then I'd agree but no new thanks.
Definitely need CB, tall with good left boot otherwise it looks good when everyone is fit.

I don't think we do. Moore and the young Irish lad will be at the club, that leaves us with 5 strikers plus Celina as more of a number 10. That's plenty.

Maybe a straight swap with Moore to Rotherham might be the best option, on loan for the remainder of the season. They'll be a FWD short. He should net at least 10 in that division. Get his confidence back up.

But remember, due to a lack of fit players/midfielders, we've been starting with 4 strikers on the pitch.

Two injuries to any of them & we are short.

We've got midfielders coming back, last couple of games we've had Ward and Huws in two of the roles behind the main striker so we have options. If Didz goes (unlikely for me) we're still a forward up with Moore back and Drinan signing.
