Since our success at the world cup i have seen a lot more variation in set pieces from other teams. A lot of joy it seems from the deep ball well beyond the far post with an attacker peeling well back and heading back across goal. |  | | |

We are not the strongest team though are we, that was my justification to keep skuse in the side with chalobah. Chalobah is big bug not dominating, Nsiala is massive but looks to struggle in the air. We have got many that are strong in that respect. Not saying a bad thing to be focussed more on playing on the deck at pace but it leaves us vulnerable |  |

I’d suggest this is also partly an unexpected impact of selling Garner. He was immense at defensive free kicks and opposition corners. He probably got his head to 40% of corners we conceded last season. [Post edited 17 Aug 2018 17:35]
