Any thoughts?

going by what I've seen recently and especially at Swansea here's my guess

Gerken
Pennington although I prefer Donacien
Chambers
Nsiala
Knudsen
Chalobah
Skuse
Andre D
Ward
Edwards
Sears

Poll: Who would you want as Ipswich manager in November. there aren't many candidates

Yep if all fit I reckon he’ll go unchanged.

I’d like to see a right back playing at right back for starters, but I’d also like to see Dozzell playing deeper, perhaps at the expense of Chalobah, Sears out wide, and Jackson back in the team.

We just won though, so I’d expect an unchanged team injury permitting.

I'd be quite happy if Dozzell is played further and Chalobah given a bit of licence. Both should play without a doubt if fit enough.

Also, Sears out wide, are you sure? The boy had his best game in I don't know how long last weekend, playing centrally.

Poll: Pick a goal to win the derby in stoppage time...

That's what I went with Sears as he ran his socks off at Swansea and had an awesome game. well deserved his "goal"

Darren Bent up top.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
Poll: With Evans taking 65% in Huddersfield, is the Banter Era over?

Sears has proven time and again he is far better through the middle.

Every time he is given a run in the side in his correct position (through the middle), his form improves immeasurably. Who'd have thought it?

That may well be the side.

My initial thoughts when looking at that as an 11, 1 - 11, is it really a good enough side to survive!?

Massively lacking in quality in key areas to me.

it's the best we have currently

is it strong enough to survive? yes I think so based on the green shoots of progress made at Swansea

Fingers crossed

I'm not sold on the Swansea result really showing we're capable of doing a lot.

Another day, they'd have been 3-0 up when we made it 1-1.

Sure, away at Brum / Swansea we've scored 5. However, that's out of 6 on target.

Swansea went all out for the win, and left gaps.

We're in the mire.

I would go with the OP team. Gerken holding his place, but with Donacien at right back, Knusen left back, Pennington to compete with Nsiala for centre defense alongside Chambers. Chalobah is emerging as a very good player, box to box for me, with Skuus protecting the back four and Dozzell creating. Sears given a free role, Edwards and Ward switching flanks.
