Variation on a scammy theme 10:03 - Nov 5 with 1174 views | GeoffSentence | Having had 'windows' support helping me out with my computer problems few days back, I now have BT on the phone who want to help with all the problems in my broadband. I need to get my computer again, so that they can help. Their call is important to me, so I have left them with radio 4 again whilst I go get it.

Haha. If I could be bothered to actually engage with them I would do that. Sadly, I have work to get on with and that interferes with winding up scammers.

I'm sure you are aware that allowing someone who isn't a family member to listen to the radio requires a PRS/PPL license, so not to contravene the copyright laws? No? Be careful, or you'll have that lot on you soon bullying you into paying for one.

Variation on a scammy theme on 12:08 - Nov 5 with 1000 views | wkj | Probelem is the real BT scammed me - Charged me £60 for broadband for my first 3 months as a new customer vs the £24.99 advertised, said they can't refund the first 3 months of over payment, but can change the monthly price going forward. You can imagine the ombudsman service laughing at this soon.
