He was on loan from Wolves, but I read somewhere that he's gone back.

I can't remember where I saw it, don't think it was from a reliable source, pretty sure it was a rumour on here or on Twitter. Not that it'll make much difference, can't see him playing whether he's still here or not.

I think Lambert pied him off at Villa because of disciplinary issues, and then again had a run in at Wolves. So it wouldn't surprise me at all if he goes back, especially as Lambert seems keen on restoring some harmony in the squad and bringing a feel good factor back.

We can't just "send him back". Loan agreements are for a set period and can only be broken earlier than that if there is a specific clause, plus both clubs and the League agreeing. So we'll still be paying for Graham whether or not he's playing.

Doesn't mean he has to be here though, training and with the squad on a daily basis

maybe he's on some form of footballer's gardening leave

Where did I mention anything about the remuneration?

I'm talking about him physically being present at the club. It's perfectly acceptable for him to return to his parent club while still contractually being signed on. Same for Walters.

We can cancel the loan, but as there window-window, he wouldn't be able to play for Wolves until January, IIRC.

EDIT - but yes, think you're right with regards to paying for him still (until January at least).

Have we ever signed anyone twice whose had two terrible spells with us whether on loan or not? Can't recall anyone...

He was anonymous the first time round and pretty woeful this time.

We can IF Wolves agree to it being terminated, yes.

I don't see why they would agree to this.

It's probably not benefiting them having him sat on the bench/stands here, is it? Although, with all due respect to Graham I can see him going back to Wolves to challenge for a first team place.

Well, he's probably a better gardener than he is a footballer.

Think i’m right in saying the first thing McCarthy did when he came in was cut short Massimo Luongo’s loan from Spurs,so it can be done..if so Graham has proved to be a total waste of space twice.

Think the rules were slightly different back then though.

Indeed, still our player until January regardless of whether PL has him in his plans (or whether he's here or otherwise, didn't see him last week), which I think won't be the case.
