It doesn't. Instead the company you're buying from will generate that much energy from zero emission methods and it'll go into the national grid and get mixed with everything else. Same as the way that when you change any electricity supplier you don't change which powerplants you're supplied from. |  | | |

Biogas innit. That's the way forward, although it has to be cleaned before it can be fed into the grid. So easier to use if 'raw' locally straight from anaerobic digesters, or turn it into electricity. |  |

sounds like marketing to me there is only one national grid so you have no idea how the electricity you use has been generated.
You pay in advance for your electricity they can raise the price at two weeks notice. They do no installation work, a friend wanted to sign up to them for a new property. They told him to go to one of the big six and switch to them once a meter had been fitted.
Far better to fix your price for 12, or 24, months and pay the same each month for the length of your contract. You will pay more in the winter than the summer and the price could change 2-3 times a year. | |

It makes no odds at all how much you pay at different times, they don't get to keep the change. I don't really care how much they take it just goes on my account and I get a refund if they mess it up. | |
