Latest official statement from Bury FC on 16:51 - Aug 27 with 1777 views | WarkTheWarkITFC | The very same fans who have taken days off work and lost pay to go down to the ground, clean it up and in some cases donate food, water and equipment for their game at the weekend to go ahead, are being told to stay away or they'll be done. At the height of their absolute heartbreak. At this point they may as well show him urinating in an FA Cup.

Latest official statement from Bury FC on 16:52 - Aug 27 with 1756 views | PJH | Yes, I just saw that during my trawling through the goings on (or not) at Bury and Bolton. I expect a concern for SKY is what to show instead of the proposed Bury v Bolton game on 8th September or whenever it was.

Fans are suggesting there's a takeover happening, reports there might be multiple bids coming in. Gonna be a long night innit the poor bastards.

Surely, no bid this late can be taken seriously. They’ve had months to come forwards. The reasons given by the prospective buyers earlier this evening are unlikely to be easily overcome. From a governance perspective, if the EFL grant Dale another extension they’re really proving they’re not fit for purpose.

Depends who you believe. I was told a week or two ago someone local had come forward with £1.6m and this came 2nd hand from an employee. If Dale has been constantly raising the price as is suggested then it's feasible the club could have been saved several times over but he didn't want to do it.

And that’s the issue. There’s clearly a tangle of companies and probably pension funds underpinning Bury and Dale wants his cut to part with his cash cow. It’s heartbreaking for the fans but unless he agrees to a maximum sale price for all assets with no ties this evening, they can’t move forwards.
