No that does sound a bit odd but I'd go ahead and give it a light pruning this time of year (cutting to a bud) and remove anything left on it from last year. |  |

I'm never sure if the fruit on a uk grown passion flower are edible? Kind of assumed they were ornamental.
The garden is all wrong at the moment though, loads of stuff that should have died or shed leaves over winter hasn't. [Post edited 6 Feb 2020 13:31]
