Phil and Gav - I hope traffic’s doing okay for you. Is this having any impact on ad click bids?

Wait until lockdown and the TWTD BYOB virtual pubs each day. Plenty of clicks coming.

Truly impaired.

For a moment I thought you said “chicks”.

No, you can’t try and pull Bluebell or Ryorry.

Traffic on here is highest around matches. twtd will be taking a big hit, even if we keep posting utter rubbish and sparking useless debates founded on our own ignorance (though that might be the only thing that keeps it going).

Maybe some will benefit by it being increasingly hard to get banned!

Traffic is obviously down on a normal weekend due to no game but is still significant. Will be interesting to see how things progress in the months to come on that front, particularly if we're looking at a six-month hiatus as has been suggested and therefore not much news. Ad rates are Gav's domain but I would imagine that they will drop due to the ongoing economic uncertainty. All posts gratefully received!

With more people staying at home I'd think views, clicks and posts will be up if anything. Well on the messageboard at least.

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

I hope things don't get so bad that you have to switch to to giving away Fiestas from Audis.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

You may well be right on that front. We'll have to see how it goes. Plenty of other people will be hit in similar ways in their particular fields.

This is where you're in a stronger position being "social media for ITFC fans" rather than purely a football site.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

That is true, although the news side of things is bigger in terms of income than the forum.

I'd expect so as we are all ad blind now.
