The challenge is, what are the police actually doing to get rid of people like Derek Chauvin?
Chauvin had 17 complaints against him and remained in the police force. That tells a story in the fact that unsuitable people evidently remain in the police force even when people do speak up. And that will largely be down to the powers wielded by Police unions.
So until the police unions get serious about helping to identify and act on poor policing / poor policemen - then his words are hollow ones imho. |  |

Re the linked article. While i don't condone holding detainees is squalid conditions, it a bit hypocritical to complain that you're being held in conditions where you can't social distance, when you have taken part in a demo where the social distancing was largely ignored anyway. |  | | |
