Very much doubt it unless a good few are moved on or sold the squad is too big.

I fully agree the squad needs trimming by 6 at least

There's always the loan market. I know Lambert wants to not rely on loans, but generally there's one or two. With that in mind, possibly a centre back from a Championship club once they've got themselves sorted.

Maybe a loan or two, I'm guessing if they're under 21 they won't count against the salary cap. Can't see any further permanent signings.

Judge, Wilson and ... Drinan?

We won’t replace Wilson as Hawkins can drop back to central defence if required. The departures of Nolan and Judge would probably be covered by the likes of Dobra, El Mizouni and McGavin. Drinan hasn’t provided cover for years so nothing needed there.

We would need to replace Donacien, as right back cover, and Nsiala.

More likely to see a few of our squad moved out.

Hopefully a couple of good quality loans, regardless of age.

Paying an increased loan fee seems a good way of avoiding the salary cap having any impact.

I'd be very happy if we found buyers to all of those 6!!

To be fair I’d happily keep Donacien and Wilson. I can’t see anyone better signing for us just to sit behind KVY in the pecking order though, if Lambert sees Donacien as a centre back, he will need to be moved on if possible. Wilson is fine as a reserve centre back at this level.

Squad is full now, and a very competitive one it looks on paper should all remain fit.

The likes of Toto/Janoi could leave on loan, 1 year on contract can’t see anyone paying the wages we will be right now to them.

Possibly some younger ones out on loan as well, Wright, Smith, Clements, McGavin, Simpson
