So Accrington next... 17:20 - Oct 10 with 1772 viewsChrisd

and then we've got 3 games in succession against Doncaster Rovers, Lincoln City and Gillingham that will give us a truer indication of how the team is doing and also PL's managerial capabilities when under the pump. Really pleased about the result today, Blackpool at their place is never easy, so to win 1-4 should be a victory we should all embrace. Well done the team in the way they responded from last week's draw and performance at MK Dons and PL in his selections. Definitely a different feel to last season for me.

Not sure we should be fearing any of those teams. I don't mean that disrespectfully because Doncaster were the better team at PR last season and we all know what Lincoln can do to us but really we should be looking for 9 points.

Truly impaired.

I would not under-estimate Accrington either. I think they are the type of side that could cause us problems this season.

No midweek game, but then 6 league games in 18 days.

Or 13% of the season in a shade over a fortnight.

Followed by 18 days without a league match and then 11 league matches in 6 weeks. I wonder if we might be able to move another match to fill the gap created from Blackpool although I guess everyone else will already be playing so probably not.

For me crunch time will come when we come up against teams using strong arm tactics against us. How will our midfield hold up ?
