RIP Sacks but I disagree with his conflation of criticizing Israel with being anti-Jewish. Also as if it’s some natural progression from the Middle Ages and through the pogroms and Holocaust.

I understand him being ultra-partisan but if it’s about taking account of the responsibility on all sides then over many decades Israel hasn’t really held up their end of the bargain. And now look totally unwilling in the guise of the hardliners in and around Netanyahu’s government.

If people truly stepped back then they would see there is no justification for the oppression of more vulnerable people and illegal occupation of their lands. Start there and it’ll be possible for all sides to take responsibility for the solution and for building peace.

Pronouns: He/Him

Hence the bit in brackets....I think I am vindicated in my words.

Edit.... I stand corrected, my archivist informs me it was Lambert responsible for the official relaunch.

Have a bit of respect please and take it somewhere else.

You haven't even commented on the late Rabbi Jonathan Sacks himself, who this thread is actually about.
