I always think it’s a warning sign if a manager is having to try and convince you he is a good manager because he won the CL in 97’, or played a lot of games in the Scottish League.
I’m probably wrong, and I’m sure someone will correct me, but can’t recall Ancelotti telling everyone he won 3 Serie A’s, 3 Coppa Italia’s, or 2 European Cups.
Or Frank Lampard, or Pep Guardiola.
It’s a bit of a red flag that.

Lambert is showing the same attitude and frustration as McCarthy did in post match interviews. It just shows a lack of honesty and common sense in dealing with questions. If it was a poor game or poor defeat just say it how it is and move on. The frustration sets in when you are in denial. It seems nearly every game what he comes out with is totally at odds with what I think has happened, bar perhaps the Sunderland game in recent weeks.
