This is so ridiculous that it's almost funny.

Incompetence on a grand scale across the board. The vaccine rollout is the once exception but that mainly seems to be down to the excellence of the NHS and the army rather than the government.

It's almost as if letting the publicly owned organisations that are best placed to deliver services are better at it than outsourcing it to people you went to school with.
