Toto. Chambers etc 12:03 - Apr 26 with 1347 viewschrismakin

Sorry if this is already on a thread somewhere

But do you think their exclusions are due to PC knowing what they bring and happy to leave them out to see exactly what the likes of Wolfy and Mcguiness can do.
Mcguiness clearly nowhere near ready for Arsenal and probably looking at this level in years to come so maybe having a look to see of worth another loan ( as he does like ball playing cbs)

Possibly but I don’t think we’ll get the best out of Woolfenden and McGuinness by playing them together - they need someone experienced next to them rather than someone still finding their way. Of course, Cook might be taking that into account whilst judging them.

Playing McGuinness is utterly pointless. He's not our player and he's not very good.

It should be Chambo or Nsiala partnering Woolf till the end of the season.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I reckon playing McGuinness is purely down to him having to play a certain amount of games, as part of his loan agreement.

Interesting to see what happens with Chambers and Toto, as I’ve posted before, I’ve heard reliably that Chambers has been told we won’t be looking to offer him a new playing deal, and are trying to get him in a role off the field.

Could be right and would explain bennetts continued inclusion when you see the likes of parrott etc not being involved anymore.

Which makes the idea of this loan culture that ran through out club the more ridiculous.

I'm reliably informed that's not the case re McGuinness. There was some clause along those lines but he has played more than enough games.

...why do you think he's been playing Phil?

I can't really fathom it.

Not really sure. I wondered whether he might have seen something he likes and is assessing whether he might bring him back next season, but I'm not sure his form has been enough to warrant that.

The main beneficiary of his loan has been Arsenal. He doesn't look an Arsenal first team prospect to me at 20.
