I’m still struggling to see it. Payne was turning him inside out while on the pitch.

Certainly not the worst on the pitch today to be fair. Bit these are a league 2 side with a terrible goals against record.

Kept good width and put good crosses in when he did get the ball.

The odd mistake in defence but nothing costly.

I would say he was OK but not for the Championship. Would be fine for next season but will need better longer term.

Thought he had a good game today, offered good support on the overlap in the first half and was making himself available for the outball on the diagonal which helped to stretch them. I don’t think he’s good enough to be our first choice left back next year, but he offers a lot more than Ward for me.
