Also. PC wants players he can trust. If that's wingers who he knows can whip a ball in.. he will go for them. Doesnt matter what league they are from. Can they do the job he wants to be successful. | |

I don’t expect us to go and fill the squad with high earning Championship players.
But when PC talks about adding quality to the squad, I can’t see him referring to lower league 1 wingers, who have only once played over 20 league games in a season, never chalked up more than 4 league goals in a season. He’s never stayed at a club for more than a year.
He is a low League 1 journeymen.

He's averaged 25 league games a season over the last three seasons - he's maybe not quite as bad as you're making out.
I agree that he checks all the boxes for an easy link though (played for Wigan, out of contract, winger), but I quite like the look of him tbh. |  |
