NOT GILLINGHAM!!! 13:45 - May 20 with 1722 viewsOriginalMarkyP

Ugh. I hate Gillingham and Steve Evans.

Typical if he signs some of our players and turns us over again next season.

I’m getting confused - I thought all our players were crap so why does it matter where they go?

But at Gillingham the evil Steve Evans will turn them in to evil drones who come back and beat us through evil scottish witchcraft and Irn Bru non-football.

Non football you say. You didn't see much of us last season then.

This is what frustrates me. It went too quickly from being all Lambert's fault to being all the players fault. Ig you watch what Chambers and Skuse said during their interview they clearly do care about this club and feel let down.

The owner wasn't good enough, the manager wasn't good enough , a lot of the players weren't good enough and the infrastructure of the club wasn't good enough.

yeah but they also said in interviews that until Paul Cook told them they werent staying, they still thought they had a good chance of being here next season, which highlights a remarkable lack of self awareness on their part, they were the first two on anyones list to be out the door, frankly they could have played like gods this last season and thered still have been a question mark on them staying.

maybe that explains some of the mess the squad got itself in.

Why not Gillingham? The more of our ex-players who just have been released to join them the better chance for us to beat them next season.

6 out of 19 that had performed so poorly against them last March at Priestfield are no longer with us. Remaining 9 (yes 9 as Wilson has signed for Plymouth and 3 loanees have returned to their parent clubs) can go too as our manager has said so.

We are going to have the better players next season. Better than those who have 'led' us to finishing 11th and 9th respectively in League One.

Don't get why you would have particularly strong feelings against Gillingham. Until the last two seasons they have been almost entirely off our radar.

I get the Evans thing, that loud mouthed crook should not be anywhere near professional football, but Gillingham as a club are inoffensive.

Don't boil a kettle on a boat.

Considering Cook specifically said that there will be an offer for Chambers to stay is it really a lack of self awareness to suggest he thought he may do so?
