Barnsley v Swansea 19:01 - May 22 with 1063 viewsMetal_Hacker

Struggling to believe this is to get in the championship play off final at Wembley to be given the opportunity to play premier league football

The quality really isn’t all that to be fair

Surely if you’re a Brentford fan , you’d be quite confident

It’s all a bit huff and puff. I am expecting more from Barnsley second half given their coach looks like he’s going to pull a gun on you at any moment. He doesn’t look like he does forgiveness.

That’s probably that.

Come on Brentford in the final.

Good goal. Barnsley coach readying the horses’ heads for the Players’ beds.

It's pretty depressing that Swansea have realised they don't have to play to keep Barnsley's hoofball at bay. Still, it's working and the stakes are high so I can't really blame them.

The goal was quality and the defending has been top drawer, especially from that Guehi lad - he's only 20 years old. Other than that it's been a bit rubbish.

Watching a game like this. Despite it being quite dull compared to some others today. One thing I've noticed though is both sides look twice the size of ours when you look at the players. Their strength etc. Heights.. I've never really felt we were a small team and I know we had some fairly tall players in Mcguiness.. but overall it would be interesting to see our lineup this season v a championship side.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

Athleticism and physicality I think is the order of the day for next season’s requirements

Swansea deserved it over the two games. It was physicality over skill and Brentford have a bit more about them, for my money.

Have to agree. As a guy living in Yorkshire it’s been a sh1t show for Yorkshire clubs this season

United down
Wednesday down and in a mess
Rotherham down
Barnsley play off disappointment

I'd say Brentford have the slight edge, but it's been 1-1 in both their games this season so who knows. Very different styles with Brentford looking to be expansive on the ball and Swansea more confident in their ability to defend and then come up with a moment of quality. It's lining up to be a fascinating contest, even if it's unlikely to be a classic football fest. And it has a bit of edge after an acrimonious match up last year in the semi final (they really don't like each other - Brentford's manager was a bit of a cock after the first match last season when they lost at the Liberty).
