So in the spirit of everything must go.... 09:44 - May 25 with 887 viewsOriginalMarkyP

...a championship club comes in for KVY for £870,000.

We sell. (Club decides he can go due to injury record - player wants the move to play at a higher level on better money)

How do we feel?

Because one thing I was thinking that there has been so much talk about all the players we are getting rid of, many of whom a lot are happy to get rid of, what happens when a bigger club comes in for someone we actually would like to keep?

If the price was right we would sell

Lets face another forum made a bid for you it would considered and a price arranged which TWTD would be happy to pay to see you go

(only joking!!)

To be fair to Evans, in the past he has shown he was willing to hold onto players when the manager wanted to keep them. The most high profile being Didz.

No idea what the new owners would do but given the fact that Cook has said anyone/everyone could go....it's a rather moot point as I suspect if the money is right Cook would allow anyone to go.

Sigh. If only a big forum would come in for me.

Maybe I should put together a highlights reel...

I would like to keep Downes, not sure it’s going to happen...

I think this anyone can leave if a decent offer comes in is Cook calling a few players bluff, I would think he would be keen to keep a few of them and if they realise the offers they will get will be some way off the facilities and money here they might well re discover their mojo

The main gripe that Bristol City fans..... on 09:55 - May 25 with 743 viewsBloots

....had with Ashton wasn't about how much he sold players for, in fact that appears to be his major skill, it was who he replaced them with.

I suspect that a decent offer would be accepted for any player.

It's just that some players will have a far higher figure that is considered to be "decent" than others.

£1m for KVY would be decent, £50k for Toto would be decent.

I reckon we could get away with giving someone a tenner and putting a couple of pints behind the bar down the pub to take Edwards off our hands.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
