Fleetwood Fans on Wes Burns departure 13:59 - Jun 4 with 3064 views | unstableblue | NOW this reaction/feedback to the news does look promising: "Can’t be letting our best player go ffs what a servant" "Quality player lacks end product at times but he’s class at this level" "Best player gone! Where’s the logic??" "This hurts as much as Madden & Evans. He, along with Hunter on wings with those 2 up front were unbelievable for a time under Barton. He’ll be very difficult to replace...all of the others still to be replaced." "Absolutely gutted, Ipswich have a top quality player, workrate is top notch. All the best with your future Wes! Never forget us fans FTFC Heart suit" "Gutted you are leaving Wes, you have been a great player for the club and you have been inspirational this season. My only surprise is that you haven’t gone to a championship club as you deserve to be playing at that level. Good luck in the next chapter of your careerClapping hands signClapping hands sign" "Good luck Wes. Without a doubt my favourite player over the last few years"

The difference is that Toto and Nolan had been stepping up the level and Championship turned out to be too tough for them. Toto what last season has shown is a good League One player and played well. In case of Burns we're talking about the player who has joined the club in the same division so very encouraging to see the feedback he's got from the Fleetwood fans.

I agree, I was just be cheeky. Though I'm not convinced Toto has proved anything.

Toto costs us 4-5 penalties a season and has a clanger in him every other match. I'd be looking to move him on as soon as possible. He is powerful and strong, but not a lot else. We need to assemble a squad that not only ensures we compete for the top 2 this season, but can adapt to life in the Championship. Nolan saunters round, stuck in 3rd gear, plays 5 yard passes backwards and sideways, constantly stops to pull his socks up, immaculate white shorts at the end of a game and has a strop when subbed. Again, move him on and persist with Doz, Downes, Bishop or someone else who can cut it at the top of this league and beyond. [Post edited 5 Jun 2021 10:36]

I want to see the best in him, but a little disappointed to read the bit in there about end product as we already had Edwards and Bennetts of which much the same could be said, but here's hoping.

Put a good player in a team full of other good players and things will happen. That’s the difference here for me. Previously he was playing for Fleetwood with limited players around him. Same can be said of Bennetts and Edwards to be fair. A team full of good players will increase the likelihood of more end product.

Where can we find a 52ft tall player to get on the end of more Edwards crosses?
