We've got to play the big boys some time. Perhaps better to do it without the added pressure of a final or semi.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Portugal would be narrow favourites, Germany are roughly the same standard as us.

Basically, just not France.

Or Hungary. I wouldn't rule them out. Far from a bad side

I'd argue we're on a par with Germany to be fair

That's what I said! Would be a close game, I think a penalty shoot out is sadly likely!

Germany destroyed Portugal at the weekend, rather play Portugal out of those 3. Think we'll struggle against any of them though.

Perhaps reading too much into Rüdiger's 'bite' on Pogba but I think if it is Germany then the England players are more likely to be on the end of a semi...

France would beat England 1-0 and control the game.

With Portugal it would be tight, probably a draw, extra time etc.

Germany are stronger than England, where do England have a player as good as Muller?

They did but their wing backs push so high that the defence is completely exposed. The centre backs aren’t particularly mobile either so there’s potential for them to be caught on the break.
