England really are the Ipswich of the Euros 19:24 - Jun 23 with 535 viewsC_Jam_Blue

That's as far as scoring goals is concerned. We are the only team to progress top of their group having scored only 2 goals. Sweden have 4, the others have 7 or 8 goals, we'll see what they end up on in group F.

Our group was by far the least exciting, 10 goals in total, other groups all on 15 - 18 goals. On the other hand Italy are the only other team in the whole competition yet to concede.

As long as have 0 on the conceded goals column 1 goal will be enough scored.

Exactly. People bang on about Man U beating us 9-0 but forget that we beat them 3-2 down here during the same season. Three points each.

In 2016 Portugal progressed from their poor group with 3 points.

The key thing is progressing.

Germany banged in 4 goals against Portugal the other day but you can bet your life that they would swap positions with us in a heartbeat as it stands.
