Pants the big wicket now. Because he is more than capable (and actually has a bit of a habit for it) of winning India games with fast innings in the second innings when they look bang under the cosh.

I can't see this ending as a draw, unless India can stick around until lunch tomorrow. Even then at the current run rate I cannot see them setting England a 'unchasable' target.
Big day at Lords as it is Indias independence day - and many Indian supporters will have thought they had a good chance of winning when England were 23-2 chasing 364.....follow on territory.
Bit it's lunch and India are now only 28 with the loss of 3 wickets, facing a possible defeat by close of play tonight.
I hope not as it has been a cracking match so far and, it and the crowd, deserve another day.

Hmmm, very good 100 partnership, Wood prises it open with an excellent piece of fast bowling then injures himself an over later trying to save a boundary.

Right now Root and Stokes are the only world class batsman in that line up. England's rotation policy has meant no one has found rhythm.
Moen usefull with the bat.
Bairstow and Butler too but they need a platform to produce their best.... capable of counter attacking but too often only getting starts.
