Letting play flow by not blowing up every 30 seconds. Good to see to see some good physical challenges allowed.
Bit of a ruckus at half time thogh well diffused by said official.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

I like to see play flow, but think he's got a lot of mini-decisions wrong for both sides, he's let Glik get away with too much which made the half time kerfuffle inevitable.

Football wise, England are making some weird decisions in the final third, they all look a bit dazed.

I think he's been piss poor. Proper homer so far.

Gilk will be fortunate to last the 90 minutes, but my point is that it is refreshing for an old duffer like me to see some good physical tackles and adding a bit of spice to the procedings.

I think he’s a weak homer. He’s favoured Poland throughout. He books an England player for stepping on a foot without knowing it was there while he had the ball and a minute or two later had a friendly chant with a Polish player after he’s slid in for a challenge that was a booking all day long. The Poles are getting away with a lot. England will do well to keep 11 on the field here.

England are constantly over-playing it, where a cross or shot on goal seems to be the better option.

Is it me or does Sterling seem like he doesn't want to pass to Kane, and Kane looks so fed up with him he's sending him hospital passes.

And why don't strikers bust a gut to get on the end of balls across the 6 yard box anymore?

I thought Stirling in particular over played it. On the upside, England are in good shape points wise. The two Phillips and Rice played well and Mount/Grealish seem to be forming a nice little partnership.

The goalkeeper: oh dear. From the moment he made that foul up they looked jittery at the back

Thought I must have been knocked out, drafted into a re-make of 'Life on Mars', and woken up to a 1970s England international!
