Why hasn’t he managed consistently above division three?

We didn't sign him to be anything more than the one who gets us up.

He is here to take us to the next level and then see how things go.

Because thats what he is, a 3rd division coach. If he stays thats where we stay, just as his shocking record here proves. Jewell and the dark lord have better records in a higher division than him. One dimensional with one up top, you would never have seen Sir Bobby, George or BFJ play like that. If you can't defend and we can't, attack, simples.

If it was that simple, you could be our manager.

He's underperformed here so far, but any manager who has consistently had success in the Championship would be managing a Championship club, not Town. There isn't an obvious and realistic improvement.

I bet his mates would make a better coaching team though.

The one that played off Toshack, yes I remember him well, when he moved from Scunthorpe.

Yep, that's the fella. He played for a number of clubs here are abroad, very, very talented player. After playing he moved in management. Spent a fortune trying to out score sides. Your ultimate "we will score more goals than you" manager. Lost the England managers job because of it. The moral of the story?
You need a balanced, well drilled side to succeed. Every department is important. Solid defence, hardworking midfield, clinical in front of goal. That is how you succeed in football as a general rule. Hope that helps.

You know this post doesn’t make any sense given he managed in the Championship across two seasons which is equal to periods of other tenures. It’s a poor attempt to sleight his ability. Have you got anything else in your locker?
