Imagine lots of Town fans were similarly joyous when Jeffers (and Roberts left). If Jeffers goes on to manage a Conference side in the next year or so would that be so outrageous?

Can see why they're happy, and the fact United were so woeful under Ole, McKenna and whoever else puts a bit of worry in the mind, but it doesn't mean it won't work.

Who knows really. Interesting and inventive appointment if nothing else.
