BE. POSITIVE. ABOUT. MCKENNA. 00:43 - Dec 17 with 1112 views | TresBonne | The guy has literally gone from coaching CRISTIANO RONALDO on Monday to becoming Ipswich Town manager on Thursday. Coach who survived through 3 different managers, with promotions, working under one of the greatest managers ever Jose Mourinho-certified, footballing legend Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and another one of the best managers ever, Ralf Rangnick. With high regard from all by the way. Yet I’m seeing fans moaning because it isn’t Neil Warnock. Crazy.
BE. POSITIVE. ABOUT. MCKENNA. on 01:29 - Dec 17 with 1014 views | BondiBlue | Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday, Lee Evans on Thursday. I feel for the guy. I'm sure he'll be great but everyone needs to remember this is a long-term appointment. We won't get promoted this year. We'll need to give him whatever time and patience we have left, which is understandably not much. I worry for him to be honest, this could end his career before it has begun.

BE. POSITIVE. ABOUT. MCKENNA. on 08:27 - Dec 17 with 728 views | clive_baker | Don’t think anyone can question his coaching credentials. Guess the real test will be how he steps up to a head coach role, managing the players emotionally and as people as well as technical expertise. That’s going to be interesting to see, hopefully they take to him and he takes to it. It’s done now, we should all just get behind him and see what happens.

BE. POSITIVE. ABOUT. MCKENNA. on 08:29 - Dec 17 with 721 views | Vaughan8 | Loads of people must be disappointed as last week they were wetting themselves about Manning...... We need to give this guy a chance. It seemed to come.out of nowhere but he seems to have a decent background (which is people's reason for Manning). I hope people don't expect a miracle. The players aren't as good as people make out.

BE. POSITIVE. ABOUT. MCKENNA. on 08:51 - Dec 17 with 640 views | Chrisd | Really hope he is given time to embed his methods and ethos. The craving for promotion this season has generally now created a fan base that has little patience. McKenna obviously has a a very decent record as a coach, but it is only now he is cutting his teeth managerially with us, he's going to need time to adjust. Promotion now seems very unlikely and our supporters perhaps need to embrace and accept that instead of getting frustrated, especially if we go through spells under our new manager where things aren't quite going to plan. As long as we can see progress on the pitch for the rest of this season, then that would be encouraging in moving forwards.

I suspect it’ll be hard man / soft man approach , with McKennas number 2 doing more of the player man management, ( although KMcK appears to have those qualities himself )
