I'm not necessarily trying to say that today was a positive, as it wasn't, but it does give McK the chance to see what he might need to do over the next two weeks.
Individual errors was the story of the day once more- then a failure to get motivated when on the back foot. Plenty of notes for McKenna to take into training as well as the transfer market if necessary.

Agreed.
Hopefully, McKenna is with us for a few years – and a number of the players too. Will have been a good game to analyse, particularly because we started so well.
One thing that felt strange was us having lots of attacking ball in the first 20 but we seemed to focus on the left side. Felt like we should have been unleashing Burns but then he never really got into the game after that until we were 2-0 down. |  |

While Town are mid table for a reason, Bolton were there for the taking. Lost 4 on the bounce & not won a league game for 2 months. If we are to be a superior team in this league - and we should be, with our resources - we should be looking to win games like this. And Bolton tried to play passing football, not bully us off the park. |  |
