I don’t understand how he scored so many goals for Wimbledon last year, he looks so far short of the required standard.

Would love him to prove me wrong over the rest of the season but he just looks a very poor footballer to me.

I agree, but today is a hard game to assess the strikers on - we're really struggling without a solid MC situation.

Like a headless chicken wearing lead boots today, unfortunately. Maybe harsh as he’s not had a run, but surely they work on stuff in training. Norwood no better though. I’d go with Celina and Chaplin behind Bonne. We played well with 2 number 10s the other week and we’re not getting much width with Thompson now.

Hoping he’ll pop one in but I have to say a Luton supporting friend (where he started I think) when we signed him, simply texted me with the message ‘eeeyore’

Weren't Wimbledon very direct? Does he need early balls into the box in the air? It's not our style at the moment is it? Maybe we need to adapt our style if we are playing him?

We did have the first 45 minutes with a solid platform and ~70% possession. The front 3 were easily the weak link. Nothing stuck to Chaplin or Pigott and both were wasteful. Norwood invisible.

Just another fraser for me. Great signing but didn't and doesn't suit the way we play.

I was hoping he and Norwood together might have seen us go abit direct today and give him some inbox chances to get his teeth into, it's just not what we do..

MC were doing good at holding the ball, but really not good at distributing the ball to the final third. It felt like we had two holding MCs for much of the game.
