Really weird ground to get to (and away from) so I'll probably give it a miss - our only relatively close away game left though so expect it will sell out quickly.

Sickening we’re in a league where we’re playing in a stadium with only 3 stands.

Going on the train for this one, £30 return from Ipswich. That’s the good part.

Bad parts, bus replacement to Newbury Park and then a taxi to the ground I reckon from the city centre.

Regular buses do go out there from the city centre, not sure if they do from the station too, may need to walk into town.

But yeah, the ground is no way walkable!

To be fair, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon and Porto all play in a league with a stadium with only two stands.

We get into Oxford at 11:43….enough pubs en route to do a pub crawl if we ‘walk’ it?

No shortage of pubs on way, but you are best off getting a cab to Sandford, which is about .5 mile away and you have 3 to choose from there, including one on the river which is nice. Won't be any/many Oxford fans around.

won't be for much longer their lease is up and Kassam their old owner is refusing to extend it and that's up in 3 or 4 years. They are looking at potential new sites now.

Loads of good pubs around the city centre then a bus or cab to the ground as there is feck all decent near the ground.

Bus is fairly easy but I did go with Oxford-based Town fans last time; they got home by 22:30 whereas I got into Paddington nearer 1.

If im correct Wimbledon got to season ticket sales and that was 1100. So you'd imagine this will hopefully (dont have a gold card!)

Yes, I looked it up yesterday. Club said 650 sold to GCs for that one which one could extrapolate to suggest maybe 900 gold cardholders. People will have to be sharp on Wednesday morning.

I honestly can’t remember the price of a GC, £20? But in this league in particular it’s worth it weight in ‘gold’

They can’t make this illegal can they, it’s a public car park, so really we could pack that out and have another 100/150 watching that way

Yes, it is £20 and certainly takes most of the stress out of getting away tickets.

To confirm, a few decent pubs a short walk away, includng one on the river. Sandford-On-Thames. I say short walk, its probably 10-15 mins.

Oxford have plans for a new ground, apparently.

I am amazed that is all the tickets they are offering. Their ground is only half full at the best of times.

I remember the last game we were there on a very wet Tuesday evening. Parking is awful and getting out from the area is bad.

Fortunately we have gold cards but won’t be able to get tickets for the family as we had hoped.
