Given the past record of airport parking threads on here, I hesitated to ask this but we’ve never flown from Stansted previously and I wondered if any of you frequent local flyers had any recommendations or more importantly, providers to avoid? We’re away for 10 nights early August.
Obviously, we have considered all Gatwick options so no need to revisit those.

Unless it’s changed it’s pretty simple - and relatively cheap - on site official parking with bus service to terminal. Medium and long stay. |  |

Flew in June and did the Meet & Greet. Drive up drop the car at the door and off you go, no buses to wait for and the car is there when you get back.

Went away in early May from Stanstead. Used the meet & Greet parking which was only a fiver more than the others. Very quick & easy, although I couldnt find my car on arrival back in the dark, but that was me being a dimwit. Will use again in September. |  | | |

Probably not required, but if you have a stupidly early flight, I recently stayed overnight at the Novotel and had parking included - £99 for 8 days. Bus every 30 mins, think it was £4. |  | | |

Although if you are going to manhandle your luggage onto a bus at the Novotel then why not do that at Cardinal Park or Colchester Bus Station (other departure points are available) and save the cost of airport parking (and the fuel cost of getting to and from that parking.) |  |

There is free parking available at Stansted by the coach terminal and also in the short stay car park.
You would have to cycle to Stansted to take advantage of it. |  |

I’m flying from stansted next Wednesday, have booked a taxi from Lowestoft, £130 e/w including the drop off fee, buy the time I’d paid petrol and parking it’s not that much more expensive and I don’t have to drive home after a 4 hour flight. | | | |
