I agree. I note that Kasimpasa only have a capacity of 14,500, so I doubt they have big money to offer Celina (unless they have wealthy backers?). My point is that there are hardly some big, high level clubs in for him. I think he’s priced himself out of joining us. I’m glad Ashton isn’t being a pushover on this one. As you say, move on. And yet, only a little research would suggest that they had a wage bill last season nearly twice as large as ours. It's almost like the size of the stadium is a rubbish indicator of the ability of a football club to offer contracts.
You might agree with me but you seem to have the ability to draw all sorts of extra conclusions from that agreement that were not there to be made.
My comment was based on clubs that can afford to pay a lot more being seriously interested. We need to find players we can sign not chase after ones we can't. | |
