Used them and other budgets over a hundred flights. Unfortunately when you are paying 30 Euro for flights when it goes wrong you are basically on your own. I've oy had one experience like this but it's not pleasant. But I have been left 2 days on Jersey with 3 young children by ferry companies, abandoned by train companies in the middle of Poland, and taken by a coach company to London instead of Birmingham and bumped off a flight on a premium airline. So it's not unique to Wizz. Best to have enough in reserve to be able to book another airline and fight to get it back when you get back home.

By the letter of the law, they have to get you home by any airline available once the delay exceeds a certain number of hours.

These airlines rely on you not knowing that of course.
