Is Leif Davis being targeted every week? 09:22 - Oct 2 with 1257 views | GlasgowBlue | I don’t think there has been a game this season where an opposition player hasn’t given his ankles a few kickings. Every game he seems to need treatment. When we had Greg Leigh available, McKenna would bring him on as soon as Davis went down. I assume he’s not 100% over the injury that kept him out of Bournemouth’s team for a while and opposition managers are targeting him. Or is he just getting so much possession that he is constantly in a position to be kicked? I must admit that I’m concerned every time he goes down.

How the ref never saw that every time the ball went to Bishop he gave the defender a nice little push before he jumped is beyond me, no wonder he won so many headers

He’s massively balanced the team this year, probably doesn’t get the credit he deserves. On a related note pretty much all the action was on either wing yesterday- Morsy (particularly) and Evans were really quiet.

Is Leif Davis being targeted every week? on 13:46 - Oct 2 with 813 views | Nthsuffolkblue | I thought when he went down that wasn't good and thought at least we have KVY to cover there. At a push Edwards, Woolf (and were he fit Burgess) can all play there but none would be anything like as effective. I don't think there was special treatment for Davis yesterday, Dale and co were doing that to several of our players and the referee did nothing to stop them (unless you count twice saying to him "don't keep doing that").

I think I would settle for a Cresswell. That's a big comparison based on a quarter of a season two divisions below where Sir Kevin played for us!

In the five minutes before the first goal Morsy really upped his game, big part of us gaining the impetus to open them up. Evans is a bit frustrating at the moment, a bit casual on the ball and not looking as good as earlier in the season. Albeit this is against sides that have pressed well but he did get better as the match went on.

I know, just matched it up to the pet shop boys ‘heart beat’ when I heard it on the radio as it went well! | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I think Evans took care of Dale when the referee failed to. Very similar to the challenge he made on Sky.
