Yes we were poor in the first half, but let’s add a little perspective here.
People are looking at the score line and thinking we scraped a win. We hit the woodwork 3 times and missed a penalty. Another day this season we win by 2 or 3.

You can understand some concerns, don't forget we've been at the top before and it crumbled. I don't think the overall feeling is we played badly today, that would be daft, but the concern youd imagine is another struggle in the first half, which other sides around us don't seem to be having. |  |

You can understand some concerns, don't forget we've been at the top before and it crumbled. I don't think the overall feeling is we played badly today, that would be daft, but the concern youd imagine is another struggle in the first half, which other sides around us don't seem to be having. |

But that's fine as we're in a MUCH better position than we have been at any time since we lamely dropped into this league. All we can do is keep improving and see where it takes us. It might take another window or two (find a Marcus Stewart type and we'll be flying).
And in terms of new ownership under Gamechanger, you could argue we're in a better position than at any other time in the last 15 or so years (or whenever it was that Marcus Evans took over and started making stupid decisions).
So not really a time for concerns imo. We're good, but we're not outstanding. Yet we're getting better. | |

There's a good chance one or two teams are just better than us; I know Plymouth are at the moment. But that's fine as we're in a MUCH better position than we have been at any time since we lamely dropped into this league. All we can do is keep improving and see where it takes us. It might take another window or two (find a Marcus Stewart type and we'll be flying).

I just don't see the patience being their from the actual owners if we stay in this league longer than they would like, and also KM, even if we don't go up this season, he's done enough now to get teams looking at him, he leaves - we;re back to rebuilding again.
But im not panicking over todays game, losses happen and they happen in alot of games you really don't expect it to happen. BUT we;ve got to sort out this first half performance problem as we do need promotion this season imo | |
