The Oxford Ref 19:51 - Jan 25 with 2971 viewslizzibee

Apparently he has been demoted top league 2 as 4th official following the fabricated rule to both managers and handling of other EFL league one games
Not sure how true it is

His next scheduled game is as the fourth official in the Tranmere vs Orient game on Saturday, that much is true.

Whether it is a 'demotion' or just a natural scheduling thing, who's to say.

Because he has been appointed as fourth official at Tranmere this weekend on a reduced EFL programme means that he has been demoted ? Time will tell.

If he’s been demoted to League 2 then the officials from the Bolton game last night should be reffing a Sunday league game this weekend!

Sitters, saw the red earlier... any idea what can happen next... red card taken away - can they then retrospectively ban the right player?

a niche perspective

It was the lino who made the call regarding the red card. The ref at Bolton last night was Tom Nield ...

Yes, they'll overturn the red card ban and suspend the other player.

I thought that’s what happened with the Gibbs/Oxlade Chamberlain red but it didn’t…

That says the offence didn't warrant a red card as the ball was going wide. In this instance the guilty player punched someone in the stomach!

Yes that’s why I said officials! Lino advised but ref ultimately gave it.

Ohh he reffed us against Portsmouth in the pizza cup, wanted to be the star of the show.

If he doesn't see it he relies on the advice elsewhere. The lino saw more that most at this level but completely fecked up identifying the offender.

What’s happened to the Oxford ref doesn’t help Town’s cause one little bit. There’s a fair few refs this season that have cost us points.

Missed a stonewall pen for a foul on Burns if memory serves.
