…. for Southampton today.

Nathan Jones is madder than I thought.

They had James Bree at right wing back too. I never saw him as a Premier League standard player.

I think he’s f*****. You can take the boy out of Luton, but you can’t take Luton out of the boy. What on Earth were the S’ton board thinking getting him in after his total failure at Stoke?

I was sure he'd be sacked before the night was over. The mass exodus when Wolves got the winner should be worth waiting for on MotD.

I’ll give MOTD a watch, cheers. He won’t be there much longer, I’m sure. Such a strange appointment. He’s a funny one - I’m not sure I know of anyone else who’s done so well at one club (more than once) but looked utterly useless anywhere else.

I'd be surprised if he is still in charge by the time MOTD is on.

He's a loon and it's been very entertaining to see a wider audience have their eyes and ears opened to him. Seems to have turned the dial up on his nuttiness since going to Southampton and in a way it's a shame it's going to be a short stay as he's gold.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Southampton was too big a job for him, and that was obvious from the off. Not sure why he can get Luton moving but struggles elsewhere, though the Hatters have been doing fine under Rob Edwards.

He’s got less than an hour to survive…

He comes across as quite an abrasive character, a little bit like Hurst. I'm sure if you can get people to buy into that it can lead to incredible things. His successor at Luton seems to be doing a decent job at present, not sure where he goes from here. Southampton have made so many weird signings over the last few years, trying to do it on the cheap and the fanbase just seem exhausted and bored. Reminds me a lot of the atmosphere at Sunderland before they finally went down.

That centre back selection sounds like he’s trying to get the sack.

Hurst… that’s it, I knew he reminded me of someone!

He’s got Paul Hurst syndrome. His Billy Big Bollox style doesn’t work with Premier League egos.
