Is Massimo Luongo the great human of 2023? on 16:21 - Mar 18 by Swansea_Blue
If he’d been fit when we got him we’d be in the automatic places now.
I don't think you could argue with that. Especially as it's the draws that have killed us. He would have tipped the balance in several games. I'd get him signed up soon. He's earnt it and there will be plenty of interest. (probably not a rush really. I think he's really enjoying his football and will be keen to stay).

I’d be happy enough if we could sign him - almost a certainty if we go up I’d have thought. We shouldn’t underestimate the impact of Clarke either. In fact that was a really good window. 3 players who were clear upgrades and a striker good enough to share the burden with Ladapo.

It was a fantastic window. The only.downside is Luongo took a little time to get fit/shake off niggles and the rest to bed in.
We were in for Broadhead and Hirst (possibly Clarke) in the summer. We would be top if we'd had them from summer. Club is going in the right direction whatever happens.
We need very little in the summer. Getting Hirst perm would be a priority if financial rules allowed.

Assuming we can't do better than Hirst of course?
Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!
He's absolute class and been emense for us and I hope he stays at PR Comes accross as a really decent man and a chilled individual he was bubbling from his goal today at the post interview He as expressed an interest in coaching be good to see him start here

I more meant if in L1 still but I'd sign him either way. If in Champ I'd be looking for an additional quality forward as well. If in L1 Hirst and Ladapo are great..
The exciting thing with Hirst is you get the feeling he's nowhere near his potential yet. He's grown a lot in stature. Bit of a late bloomer. A bit of a Murphy dare is say it in terms of that (See also Will Keane though injuries more involved there).
Get similar vibes as with Keane though. Didn't want to see him go. You could see he had quality touches and link up and the ability to score. Just needed to put it together with confidence.
