Defensively yes. But he doesn’t have the same threat as Davis going forward. Plus Davis has been building a good understanding with Nathan Broadhead.

Will be interesting to see how it pans out, they certainly won't get any joy from Leigh and Leigh will win virtually every high ball they put up, but it just makes Derby's life easier and may free up a player to stop the threat down the right from Burns/Clarke. | |

Neither of those things have been an issue for at least 6 games (as the clean sheets prove).
Davis is a huge loss for the team in all areas in my opinion.
Leigh is there for this situation though so hopefully he will do well, I am sure he will.
