I had no concerns when Leif wasn't announced. Leigh's a great player and can feel pretty hard done by that he happens to be behind the pecking order of one of the league's best players of the season. It's a nice problem to have for us though.

Leigh did really well. He struggled a bit with Mendez-Laing in the 1 on 1s but most full-backs do at this level and he made an excellent challenge in the first half and didn't do a lot wrong.

Very impressive to do that with barely any competitive minutes in the tank before today, there can't be many better second-choice full backs in the division.
